Technical Info
Conceal Column Casings are designed for internal or external use, offering a 3mm (standard) thick metal skin in a range of shapes and sizes.
Conceal column casings meet BS EN 485-2.
Fire performance
Manufactured using 3mm aluminium as standard, they are non-combustible and suitable for any building type, achieving class ‘O’ spread of flame to BS 476-4.
Installation
Available up to 3m in length, Conceal’s column casings can be stacked to achieve any height. Normally supplied as two-sided casing to fully conceal the structural column. On larger columns, four sided casings will be necessary.
They are secured to structural columns using aluminium fixing kits and screws (by others). All fixings are hidden.

Our round column casings are a robust architectural solution to conceal structural columns and enhance the aesthetic appearance of a building. They’re available in a wide range of shapes, including circular, semi-circular, square, rectangular and in any other shape that can be conceived. We use some of the best machinery in the industry to manufacture bespoke shapes and sizes with fast lead times and delivery direct to site.
Our column casings are compatible with The Guttercrest Group’s other aluminium building products, including rainwater goods, façades and coping.
We can cater for any height of column casing, working in three metre lengths which can be stacked to achieve the desired height.
