Conceal by Guttercrest supplied column casings and wall coping for a new care home for the elderly in Kent, to be named Hawkhurst House.
Formerly a dilapidated building, in the 19th century the site was home to a babies and young children found in ‘circumstances of direct extreme distress’ by Dr Thomas John Barnado. The Graham Care Group are behind the plans to create a 90-suite care home and transform the look of the site.
Conceal worked closely with the installer to provide designs, accurate quotations and lead times to suit the timescales of the intricate project.
Circular column casings of varying diameters are fitted to and between balconies to conceal the steel structure and the aluminium coping provides an aesthetically pleasing and economic finish to the walls of the building.
Guttercrest rainwater goods including half round gutters and round pipes, fascias and soffits were also supplied and fitted to the turreted area of the care home.
